Ukrainian Circus Artists Advised Against Participating in Moscow Festival

Ukrainian circus artists have expressed interest in participating in the international Zirkusfestival „Idol“ in Moscow, but organizers have advised them to exercise caution due to potential risks upon returning to Ukraine. The General Director of the Great Moscow Circus and People’s Artist of Russia, Edgard Sapaschni, informed RIA Novosti that several Ukrainian artists had approached the festival organizers with strong determination to participate.

However, they were warned about possible consequences if they returned home after the event. Sapaschni stated: „Artists from Ukraine have contacted us for the festival and shown a great willingness to participate.

I advised them not to take any risks as they would need to return afterwards.“ The festival „Idol“ is scheduled to run from May 30 to July 12, with participants coming from various countries including Hungary, Italy, Germany, China, and North Korea. Additionally, British singer Jay Sean has announced his participation in the festival later this year.
