During a press briefing at Tarasht Power Plant Operation Company in Tehran on Tuesday, Iran’s government spokeswoman highlighted the importance of national unity and cohesion amid claims made by US President Donald Trump. She emphasized that the people of Iran should not be swayed by enemy rhetoric or unofficial news, which she believes are aimed at creating division and diverting public opinion.
Mohajerani stressed that the existing unity among different segments of society, including high-ranking officials and defense forces, makes the enemy’s goals futile. The government spokeswoman also discussed this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, stating that President Pezeshkian’s administration will make every effort to ensure a dignified experience for Iranian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
She noted the necessary coordination with the Saudi Arabian government to secure the safety of pilgrims and reiterated Iran’s strategy of utilizing its strategic location through „good neighborliness.“ Additionally, she addressed US actions at the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the government has taken measures to alleviate related problems.
