Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, referring to the anniversary of the failed U.S. military operation in Tabas on April 25, emphasized the supremacy of divine will over the capabilities of major powers. He highlighted that such events underscore the limitations of military force when faced with a higher will.
The president also alluded to recent domestic developments, stating that „this year, divine assistance brought about another Tabas in southern Isfahan,“ and declared that the God of the sands of Tabas remains the protector of Iran’s people. In his concluding remarks, Pezeshkian expressed hope that these historic defeats would serve as a lesson for arrogant powers worldwide.
The text also mentions two failed U.S. military operations against Iran: one in 1980 during Operation Eagle Claw, aimed at freeing US captives in Tehran, and another earlier this year’s war of aggression in Isfahan, which sought to seize highly enriched uranium stockpiles but ultimately failed.
