Iran Warns Countries Supporting US on Strait of Hormuz

Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, issued a warning to countries like Bahrain that are supporting the U.S. resolution regarding the Strait of Hormuz. In his statement published on X, Azizi emphasized the serious consequences such governments might face due to their support.

He specifically urged these nations not to „close the doors of the Strait of Hormuz to yourself forever,“ hinting at potential retaliation or conflict if they continue to align with U.S. policies in this region. The statement underscores Iran’s assertive stance on maintaining control over strategic waterways and its readiness to respond to perceived threats to its interests.
