Iranian Wrestlers Secure Gold in All Weight Classes at Asian Beach Games

Iranian wrestlers dominated the competition at the sixth edition of the Asian Beach Games, securing gold medals in all four weight classes. Ali Akbar Zaroudi won the 70kg category by defeating his Indian opponent 3-0, followed by Ali Gholami’s decisive victory in the 80kg class against a Pakistani rival through a technical fall.

Amir Hossein Kavousi added another gold at 90kg with a commanding 3-0 win over a Pakistani wrestler. The final gold medal was secured by Amir Reza Sahraei in the +90kg division, beating a Chinese opponent 3-0 in the final.

These victories not only ensured Iran’s overall team championship but also highlighted the strength of their wrestling program under coach Mohammad Naderi and team manager Ali Bazyar.
