In a statement released on Sunday, the Ministry of Intelligence announced that it had identified and detained the perpetrators responsible for several shooting incidents at public gatherings in Azadi Square, Kerman. Through collaborative efforts involving the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Law Enforcement Command of Kerman Province, and the provincial judiciary, the ministry’s forces apprehended the main terrorist involved along with three accomplices—two men and one woman—who were reportedly affiliated with a monarchist-linked group under Zionist direction.
The statement indicated that these individuals had opened fire on a gathering protesting against the US-Israeli war of aggression, causing injuries to two men and a young girl. Additionally, the ministry reported confiscating several firearms, hunting weapons, ammunition, explosives, and explosive devices from the terrorist cell.
