Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesman of Iran’s Ministry of Defense, expressed satisfaction with the country’s high level of defensive and retaliatory readiness despite ongoing aggression from the United States and Israel. He highlighted that throughout the conflict, Iranian Armed Forces maintained control over occupied territories‘ skies during retaliatory operations.
The official also emphasized indigenous production capabilities in weapons manufacturing, attributing this to over 25 years of investment in the defense industry. Talaei-Nik noted that around 9,000 companies are collaborating with the Armed Forces and Ministry of Defense for these efforts.
Additionally, he praised nationwide rallies supporting Iran’s Islamic establishment as a „social miracle,“ citing more than 30 million people who have registered their readiness to defend the nation against adversaries. The Strait of Hormuz has been closed in retaliation for an alleged illegal American blockade, serving as a control lever for realizing Iranian demands.
The Armed Forces have successfully forced enemy forces back multiple times in the Gulf of Oman through strategic control measures.
