A large mural designed by artist Danial Farrokh has been unveiled in Tehran, featuring the clenched fists of both the Martyred Leader and ordinary Iranians. The artwork symbolizes national solidarity, resilience, and the ultimate victory of the Iranian nation.
It measures 63.5 meters in length and 14 meters in height, making it the largest mural in Iran. The imagery is complemented by a Quranic verse emphasizing the spiritual foundation of the nation’s perseverance.
The unveiling coincides with the historic milestone reached by the JANFADA (Ready to Sacrifice Life) grassroots campaign, which has garnered over 31 million participants, demonstrating unprecedented national unity and public devotion to revolutionary ideals. More than 60 percent of the volunteers are women, highlighting their significant role in Iranian society.
JANFADA was initiated on March 29 as a spontaneous expression of public commitment amidst heightened tensions following US-Israeli threats. The campaign has rapidly gained traction, with over 31 million Iranians aged 12 to 60 now registered.
It serves not only as a social movement but also as a potent instrument for projecting Iran’s true image to the world. According to spokesperson Sasan Zare, JANFADA reflects Iranian identity shaped by Islamic and Shiite teachings and underscores the nation’s enduring principles during critical historical moments.
The campaign highlights the dynamism and constructiveness of Iranian society, demonstrating resilience in the face of various pressures. The mural and the JANFADA campaign together embody the spirit of national perseverance and readiness to protect Iran’s sovereignty and rights on both domestic and international fronts.
They underscore that the Iranian populace continues to prioritize collective responsibility and steadfastness over adversity.
